Privacy policy — BrK Apk TV Remote

1. Publisher
The BrK Apk TV Remote app (Google Play ID: com.brk.remotecontrol) is published by BrK. Contact: mbarckfamma.mf@gmail.com.
2. Data collected by BrK
None. The app does not send any information to BrK: no identifier, no e-mail address, no location, no usage history. It contains no BrK analytics or tracking tools.
The only exception is the free version's ad banners, served by a third party, Google AdMob (see section 4 below).
3. Data stored only on your phone
To work, the app stores the following locally, in its private storage:
- the local (home network) IP address, the name and the certificate fingerprint of the paired TV, so the app can find it again if its address changes;
- the TV's hardware (MAC) addresses, read from its certificate and its local network announcements, used only to wake it up (Wake-on-LAN);
- the pairing certificate generated by the app on your phone;
- your preferences: language, theme, sleep timer, brand chosen for infrared, always-connected setting.
This data does not leave your phone, unless you have turned on Android backup for your Google account, in which case Android may include it in that backup, managed by Google. It is deleted when you uninstall the app or clear its data (Android Settings › Apps › BrK Apk TV Remote › Storage).
4. Network communications
- With your TV, on your local network only: remote-control commands over the Android TV Remote protocol (TLS-encrypted), discovery of the TV on your Wi-Fi (mDNS), wake-up (Cast, Wake-on-LAN). App shortcuts send the TV an opening link (for example to YouTube); that app then opens on the TV and applies its own privacy policy.
- Sharing to another device (optional): if you tap "Share", the app opens a small token-protected server on your Wi-Fi so you can control the TV from an iPhone, iPad or PC on the same network. It is off by default and stops as soon as the app goes to the background, after 30 minutes of inactivity, or when you tap "Stop".
- Google Play: the optional "BrK Apk TV Remote Pro" purchase goes exclusively through Google Play. BrK never receives your payment details or your identity; payment is processed by Google under its privacy policy.
- Advertising (Google AdMob): the free version shows a discreet banner at the top and/or bottom of the screen. These banners are loaded from Google's servers, which then receive your phone's IP address, information about the device and the app (model, Android version, language) and, if you have agreed, your device's advertising ID, in order to show personalised ads and measure their performance. None of this goes through BrK, and BrK adds no data from your TV or from how you use the remote. Ads are set to a general audience. Google processes this data under its advertising policy and privacy policy.
- Your consent choice: in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, a consent form (Google UMP) appears on first launch. You can change your mind at any time in Settings › Ad privacy. Without consent, no personalised ads are shown. You can also reset or delete the advertising ID in Android settings (Google › Ads).
- Removing ads: the one-time "BrK Apk TV Remote Pro" purchase turns the ad banners off entirely.
5. Android permissions

The app does not access your contacts, photos, location, microphone or camera.
6. Children
The app is not specifically directed at children and BrK does not collect any data, including about children. Ads are set to a general audience (content rating "PG").
7. Your rights
Since BrK holds no data about you, there is nothing to access, correct or delete on our side. For data processed by Google AdMob, you exercise your rights with Google (myaccount.google.com). For any question about this policy, or to exercise your rights under the GDPR, write to mbarckfamma.mf@gmail.com. You may also contact your data protection authority (in France: CNIL).
8. Changes
Any change to this policy will be published on this page with a new version date. If a future version of the app were to collect data, this page and the Google Play listing would be updated before that version is released.
